Launch of the book

For the 10th anniversary of Vatel Martigny, the chef Thierry Laurier has gathered the recipes of 53 Vatel schools around the world.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Vatel Martigny, our chef Thierry Laurier wanted to highlight the regional products of each region where a Vatel campus was located.

A book called "Vatel World Cuisine" was created by this Vatel native, who obtained his Bachelor's degree at Vatel Lyon in 1986 from the Paul Bocuse class. Thierry Laurier is now executive chef at Vatel Martigny for 5 years, our students appreciate his know-how and his passion for cooking.

It tooks many days and months to create each recipe; hours of research, a hint of curiosity, moments of sharing, endless tastings in order to improve each dish, so that each recipe would reflect the culture of each country. In this book, you will discover 53 dishes and new flavors with the Vatel schools around the world as a guideline.

At that time, his father, Charles Laurier, was the talented Chef de Cuisine of the school's training restaurant.
